In October, we are reading Can Science Explain Everything by John C. Lennox. It is a short book at 125 pages and an easy read. The left has brazenly declared conservatives and people of faith: “science-deniers.” Lennox outlines the rich history of famous scientists that understood that science is only able to describe the laws of nature because nature was purposely designed to be rational and knowable. Written by a Christian, this is not a book about theology but a primer explaining that science and religion are not diametrically opposed. He provides logical arguments to help us debate those that believe science is based on ideology, unproven theories or consensus.
Our Woodinville, Renton and Mill Creek Book Clubs will meet to discuss this book on November 2nd from 6:30-8:30PM. This club is open to non-members. To RSVP or learn more email Ann Streit at annstreit@comcast.net
