WA-03 US Congress Candidate Town Hall

Join us to hear from candidates running for United States Congress in WA-03. This is not a debate but an opportunity for district 3 voters to hear from the candidates and to ask questions.

As of 8/11 we are excited to announce that Joe Kent, Wadi Yakhour and Heidi St. John have accepted our invitation. Unfortunately,  we did not hear from Rep Jaime Herrera Beutler’s campign. 

Meet the Candidates:

Joe Kent

My name is Joe Kent.  I’m a Veteran, a father, widower, a Gold Star husband and a conservative who is deeply worried with the direction that our nation and district are heading. I am mostly concerned that the person we elected to represent our values and make our voices heard decided to listen to deceptive and divisive media and radical left instead of standing strong for the people of Southwest Washington and the over 74 million Americans who voted for President Trump.

Wadi Yakhour

For the last four years, I worked in an administration that lowered taxes, boosted employment, and fought socialism.  We saw what true top-down, full-fledged focus on delivering results could produce in our government.  My experience in Washington D.C and the relationships that I’ve built with key America First players have made me the only candidate who will be “ready day one” to get us back on that track while effectively representing the people of SW Washington.

I LOVE THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST! My love for our country and this area began as a young girl when my grandpa took me along as he campaigned door-to-door for Ronald Reagan. My grandfather loved this country fiercely, and he passed that love down to me. For many years, the vision Reagan inspired for this country has been under attack, and I can no longer sit on the sidelines and hope that our elected officials will begin to reflect the values and freedoms of everyday Washingtonians—the people who elected them. With my family by my side, I have decided it’s time to step out to serve and to lead. There’s no time to lose.
