Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
I’ve been looking at the new sex education act, the new laws being passed, and recent cases I’ve had to watch my friends go through. And I think I’ve reached an accurate conclusion. One of the dark plans in the Left Agenda is to remove all parental ties to their children. They want to remove the biblical mandate for parents to start their children off in the right direction, teaching them about God, teaching them about morality, love for others, living a righteous life. Let’s look at just a few issues that are setting up their dastardly plan.
The new SB 5030 that is in the Washington State House Committee right now creates a school program that allows school counselors to usurp parental rights in many areas.” Excuse me? They want to remove anyone who loves these kids, wants the best for these kids, and knows these kids best. Instead, a stranger just by the position will make important decisions. And here’s the real scary part: Each student will have a counselor they MUST meet with. Any perceived issues (“learning development, equity, cultural competency”) will be dealt with secretly between the counselor and the child, Kindergarten through 12th grade, all toward meeting the goal of “dismantling institutional racism in the public school system.” Oh, did I mention the School Board will be informed of the issues? Just not the parent. Your six-year-old child will be indoctrinated behind your back. You may want to pause right now, run to the phone or computer, and call or email the House Committee and the House of Representatives and say NO NO NO. You might want to say no to SB 5044 at the same time. That’s the bill making the rules for dismantling institutional racism in the public school system.
I can spell out the entire Sex Education Act for you, but let me just give you a harbinger of the goals it has for your kids.
Kindergarten: Understand boys and girls have some body parts that are the same and some that are different.
Grade 1: Explain that there are many ways to express gender.
Grade 2: Understand there is a range of gender roles and expression.
More goals as your child “matures” past Grade 2 are, “define sexual orientation,” “understand how communicable diseases are transmitted,” “identify trusted adults to ask questions about gender identity and sexual orientation,” and “distinguish between biological sex, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.”
And they’ll all be taught to analyze their family’s factors and how to get accurate information for themselves. Does this mean, they’ll be taught not to trust their parents? Your seven year old little girl or boy, who looks up to you, will be taught, “Your parents may lie to you.”
Scary, huh? But you have rights. Let me end this with positive ideas.
You have the right to be heard, to make it so ugly for these people who want you removed from your child’s education. You have the right to protest. You have the right to call the legislation several times a day if you want. You have the right to make it miserable for them. You have the right to go to your child’s school, attend their classes, walk the halls, attend an assembly. You have the right to look at your child’s records, from academic to disciplinary. Any records kept are yours to see. You have the right to refuse to allow the school from doing any kind of psychological testing on your child. You have the right to insist on an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for your child with any kind of disability. You have the right to allow your child to skip participating in any part of the curriculum that disagrees with your religious or moral views. Schools may not like that last one. But that’s just too bad. It’s the law…for now.
Wait until I tell you what’s going to go on for your kids going to college!!!
