Philippians 3:10
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;….”
One of the sweetest friendships we will ever have is the friendship with Jesus. He has paid the way for us to fellowship with our Heavenly Father. He endured the pain and shame of Calvary to atone for our sins. He went to the cross willingly because He loves you and me.
The Lord gives us an example of what true friendship looks like as He laid down His life for His friends. In John 15:13, the Bible says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
Having a personal relationship with the Savior is the most important decision we will make in our life.
Do you know Him? The Bible clearly shows us how we can know Him personally today.
Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 5:8
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 10:9
That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
