As with any new Covid variant comes the increase in fear-mongering. Omicron made it’s debut less than one month ago and leaders all over the world are pushing fear and panic in another attempt to control the people.
You can’t turn on the tv without seeing someone from the left pushing the doom and gloom. From local media to cable news, it’s all over. You can’t scroll through your social media feeds without seeing it – they’re even running paid ads to push the fear.
As we’ve seen from the President, the unvaccinated are in for a winter of illness and death. And yesterday, Bill Gates tweeted that we are facing the worst part of the pandemic yet. Very scary!
And today Tony Fauci said that if you are unvaccinated, the virus “will find you.”
“That’s why I worry about the people who refuse to get vaccinated. When you’re dealing with any SARS-CoV-2 or covid-19 virus, it’s a problem,” he said to MSNBC’s Alicia Menendez. “When you’re dealing with one that spreads so rapidly and you are unvaccinated, the virus is going to find you.”
The University of Washington announced yesterday that the remainder of winter quarter would be online because of Omicron…even though UW required all students to be vaccinated. Many school districts in Washington and around the country have set the stage for remote learning in January as well.
We’re being told that we must be vaccinated if we’re going to be able to enjoy the holiday with our loved ones. Not vaccinated? No family for you!
But here’s the thing…most people realize that Omicron is the equivalent of a winter cold. It’s very mild, the hospitalization rate is extremely low. If you’re a healthy person, not in one of the high-risk groups, you are extremely unlikely to have any complications – you may not even notice you have it. The game is over, and more people are waking up to this every day.
We’re watching our government doing tyrannical things in a desperate attempt to force control. They’re working on passing laws that would require the Covid jab for things like school, jobs and entering businesses. It’s easy to feel fear and uncertainty over the future of where this is going. However, fear is always a choice.
This presents us an opportunity to be the light in this crazy and dark time when the media and politicians want to preach doom and gloom. As they promote fear to increase their power and control, we reflect peace and happiness to our families and those around us. Those who are unafraid are difficult to control. Fear is contagious, but so is fearlessness and we need to spread it everywhere we go, to everyone we encounter.
It’s easy to do as you go about your daily life. As you enter a store with your bare-naked face, greet others with a smile and engage with strangers you encounter. People are starved for connection, and I’ve found, love to talk to a friendly face. When they see your calm and friendly demeaner, I guarantee, it will brighten their day. Perhaps small encounters like this can have great impact. What other ways can you spread happiness, joy, and peace as you go about your day?
Being happy, living fearlessly, is among the most rebellious things we can do today. They don’t want us to be happy and they very much need us to be afraid so that they can control us. I don’t know about you, but the more they double-down on the fear porn, the more convicted I am to living my life unafraid.
“Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to save you,” declares the Lord.
