On March 18, 2022: Conservative Ladies of Washington filed a Rulemaking Petition (scroll down to read the petition and our letter to BOH) with the Washington State Board of Health for a New Rule Adoption Prohibiting the Addition to the Daycare or School Requirement any Emergency Use Authorization product or any licensed medical formulation that has not completed Phase III clinical trials unless specific pediatric hospitalization and death rates are reached.
This petition and another petition filed by CLW Founding Member, Emily Ling, will both be heard and discussed at the April 13th meeting. They have placed these petitions are the very end of the meeting at 3:10PM – board members will surely be tired and ready to be done for the day. It is CRITICAL that we get as many people as possible to EMAIL (WSBOH@SBOH.WA.GOV) the board in advance of this meeting and to sign up to make PUBLIC COMMENT during the Zoom meeting. (*if you sign up for public comment, please prepare a 60 second statement to be read. If you would like help writing your statement, simply reply to this email and someone from our team will help craft your statement.) There will be a time for public comment at 9:30AM. Also at the April 13th meeting, the BOH will hear the recommendation from the TAG (Technical Advisory Group) as to whether or not the Covid-19 vaccine should be added to the schedule. At the final TAG meeting, the group did NOT vote to recommend the Covid-19 vaccine for inclusion. HOWEVER, the chair could still recommend whatever he wants. And even if it is not recommended at the April meeting, concerns remain high that this topic will be revisited. It is important that you send your comments via email: WSBOH@SBOH.WA.GOV. You will be able to make public comments for this agenda item at 1:30PM. Again, please have a 1-minute statement prepared and ready to read. If you need help, reply to this email.
