We have become addicted to information. Social media has made it easy for us to have the latest information at any given moment. We can have as much information as we desire from as many sources as we want.
There are limitless tv stations, podcasts, social media apps, video streaming sources for us to choose from any time of the day, 24 hours a day. We want what we want and we want it NOW! We want to know what’s going on. We want to know what’s happening. Sometimes we are almost paralyzed in the “not knowing.”
Right now, we’ve kind of been “blacked out” in a sense. Many of our “go to” sources have been banned from social media. Many videos we typically watch have been scrubbed from YouTube. It’s like someone turned the lights off on our information and the only thing we can readily access is that which they want us to – CNN, MSN…even Fox News. Basically, you either say what they want you to say or they remove you.
In addition to not being able to find the information, many of the people who have depended on for “truthful news” over the past four years have seemingly sold out to the left. Say what they want you to say or you’re gone. And many are choosing to play along so they don’t get banished too. And to be honest, it’s infuriating. It feels like we’ve been betrayed.
So now we’re left to find updates any way we possibly can. The last of the conservative patriots who haven’t been banned from Twitter. We’re scouring BItchute and Rumble for any kind of explanation as to what’s going on and what’s going to happen and what we can expect. It’s like the conservative underground for media. Crazy to think this is actually happening.

Information addicts. That’s what we have become. And now we’re having withdrawals from our addictions. But you know what this has made crystal clear to us…
We have been BAMBOOZLED by all these people. All the big media sources are 100% controlling the information we receive and consume. Not that this is “new news” but for ages and even more since the rise of social media we have just blindly taken their word for it. I’m just as guilty of this as anyone else…even though I consider myself a truth seeker and try to practice discernment. It’s really easy to blindly trust these people and now they have revealed their true colors.
If you didn’t see it before, I hope you see it now. This “information blackout” was calculated and intentional. They don’t want us to find it any information that they do not have control over.
So here we are…not knowing where to look or who we can trust. This sad, and sickening, feeling has had me picking up the ONE source of TRUTH I know I can depend on; my Bible. Who would have ever thought that in this day of information overload, the one place we would find truth is in a book that’s a couple thousand years old. It’s actually very perfect, really.
I have to admit, I feel kind of stupid…or silly. We KNOW God’s word is to be our source for all truth and yet we find ourselves searching human sources for answers we know they do not have. No one can predict the future. We find ourselves grasping for any kind of “hope” from these people we don’t even know – who they are, what their credentials are…it’s crazy!
The only thing I know for sure: God has a plan. He has a Good plan. HE KNOWS what is going to happen in this country. He knows the end from the beginning. I’m praying for a miracle. I know that of the two options we have ahead of us, one of them will lead America VERY QUICKLY down a dangerous, evil path. Donald Trump is not our savior – we must remember that. Yes, he has done good things for our country and for the conservatives. He’s not the one we put our hope and faith in. He has been ANNOINTED by God for this position and when I pray I ask God to keep that anointing on him, to extend his grace on America for another 4 years. Give us more time. There are so many people that need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ before He comes again. If God shows mercy on the United States of America, I believe it is for the sole purpose of giving his church MORE TIME to be the light, to share the gospel and to unite the church.
I don’t know what is in store for our great country in the weeks and months ahead. But I DO know the One who holds the whole world in His hands and in that truth, I take great comfort. And I hope you do too.
